| Michael Cochrane, pianist, composer, arranger,
and instructor has resided in the tri-state area for over
30 years. He has performed and recorded with Sonny Fortune,
Eddie Gomez, Valery Ponomorev, Paul Nash, John Clark, Clark
Terry, Michael Brecker, and Ted Curson, among others. Mr.
Cochrane earned his Bachelor's of Arts degree from Boston
University and a Master of Arts degree with honors from New
York University. Mr. Cochrane has performed at The Village
Vanguard, Sweet Basil, Carnegie Hall, and Alice Tully Hall,
among others. He has also toured throughout the United States,
Europe, Japan, and the Caribbean islands. Mr. Cochrane is
a part time instructor at New York University, Princeton
University, Rutgers, and Bloomingdale School of Music. |
