Naho Tsutsui, violin

Violinist, Naho Tsutsui, a native of Japan, is an active recitalist and a chamber musician. She has given numerous recitals in the United States, Japan, Germany, and Bulgaria, and has performed at prestigious halls such as the Merkin Hall, Lincoln Center, and the National Palace of Culture in Bulgaria. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from North Carolina School of the Arts, and both of her Master of Music and Doctoral of Musical Arts from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Her principle teachers include Kevin Lawrence, Mitchell Stern, Philip Setzer, and Pamela Frank. Ms. Tsutsui spends her summers as a violin faculty member at the Kinhaven Music School in Vermont, and is a Resident Teaching Artist at Bloomingdale School of Music.
