Bloomingdale School of Music has been presenting concerts in New York for over 35 years. As the 2007-08 season begins, we invite you to explore our program of 41 unique and engaging concerts. Beginning in October and extending through June, this season will run the gamut from classical chamber music to virtuosic solo performances, from music of the Baroque to jazz and other new compositions.

On these pages you will find descriptions of the repertoire and theme for each concert, biographies of the performers, audio previews of select performances, and a downloadable digital version of our 2007-08 concert brochure. As the season progresses, this information will continue to be housed on the Concerts page, and more resources, such as interviews with the artists and more audio previews, will be added.

At Bloomingdale, we believe that listening to music is essential to the development of any musician and that going to live concerts is the best way to experience the full power of music. We hope you will plan to join us often to attend these fine-and FREE-performances.
