BSM’s annual benefit was held in the Park Avenue Armory’s
Tiffany Room on Monday, February 13. Net funds from the evening will
expand BSM’s Financial Aid Program.
Entitled Let’s Fall in Love, the event was a cabaret
hosted by celebrated Broadway veteran Terrence Mann, whose credits
include the original Beast in Beauty and the Beast, for which
he received Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations,
and Inspector Javert in Les Miserables (Tony nomination). Among
other Broadway notables joining Mann are Denise Direnzo Cats,
Chorus Line, and 42nd Street, David Elder 42nd Street,
Kiss Me Kate, and Joseph Kolinski Titanic, Les Miserables.
BSM’s own Marc Peloquin and Brandon Vazquez performed, along
with The Bloomingdale String Quartet and student Samantha Margulies.
The program includes songs by Cole Porter and selections from Camelot,
Funny Girl, Oliver, and Handel’s first Water Music Suite in
