Jessie Reagen, cello

A Chicagoland native, cellist Jessie Reagen is based in New York City.  Jessie is involved with a variety of musical projects, and has recently performed with Beyonce, Billy Joel, Adele, William Joseph, Roberta Flack, Jay-Z, tap dancer Savion Glover, Video Games Live, Cole Gentles Symphonic Rock Revival, Sonos Chamber Orchestra and Trans-Siberian Orchestra among others.

A resident musician at Congregation B’nai Jeshuran, Jessie performs weekly on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. She is also cellist of the genre-bending ensemble DBR & The Mission performing the works of Daniel Bernard Roumain.  A founding member of the ensemble String Nucleus, Jessie is featured on Albert Hammond Jr’s second album ‘¿Cómo Te Llama?.’ 

Jessie loves playing new compositions as well as those in baroque style. She has recorded for Naxos American Classics, RCA Black Seal, Red Ink, Roc-A-Fella and Bridge Records.  Commonly seen on TV, Jessie has made appearances on Gossip Girls, SNL, TRL, The View, Late Show with David Letterman, Good Morning America, Today Show, Soundstage and the Martha Stewart Show.  Jessie is currently on faculty at BIMA at Brandeis University and the United Nations International School in Manhattan. www.cellochic.com
