Fiddling Ensemble 17 Weeks, Fall or Spring, $250. Wednesdays 5:00–6:00 p.m. Kate Cassella This class is designed to teach violin students the basics of fiddling. Students will learn show pieces, waltzes, jigs, fiddle harmonies, as well as explore Irish and Old-Time fiddle styles. A new fiddle tune will be introduced almost evey week and students will receive pointers on memorization, practice technique, ornaments, variations, and fiddling style. This class is aimed at the beginner to intermediate level violin student who would like to increase his or her repertoire while playing with other students.
