Theory in a Box is an online course developed by Bloomingdale School of Music as a fun and interactive way to learn music theory. In use at more than 30 schools across the country, it is offered for free to students taking a lesson or class at Bloomingdale. The course features:
The course is designed to be self-directed, allowing students to study intermediate theory from the comfort of home.
Theory in a Box Help Desk is on-hand to answer any questions a student may have about the material in the course. After completing the course, students receive a certificate of completion and will are ready to continue with advanced theory study.

No charge for students registered at Bloomingdale School of Music.
