Advanced Chamber Orchestra
Advanced students rehearse in a conductor-less ensemble setting, learning from Bloomingdale Faculty who rotate leadership in the ensemble. Varied repertoire is selected based on student instrumentation.

What you will learn
Students will explore a range of repertoire from romantic and baroque classical to modern compositions written for this style of group, allowing different players to lead at different times.
peer to peer learning
Students will have the opportunity to collaborate with each other and their faculty leaders in an encouraging environment.
ensemble playing
Playing in an ensemble is very different than playing alone, students will learn to listen better, follow better and lead better.
Performance
The Chamber Orchestra will be featured on the ensembles concert at the end of the session.
