Interlude Orchestra

Students with experience at their instruments for two years or more will join peers in playing orchestral works new and old. Students should be comfortable reading music and playing in Suzuki book 3 or higher to qualify for this ensemble.

What you will learn

Players will have the chance to grow their musicianship skills in an ensemble setting while challenging themselves to play orchestra music. Open to string, brass, woodwind and percussion students.

ENSEMBLE playing

Playing in a group is much different than playing alone, students will learn to make music in coordination with their peers in both their section and the wider orchestra setting.

Performance

Students will have the chance to perform every semester at the ensembles concert and other school events throughout the year.

MAKING FRIENDS THROUGH MUSIC

Students will have the chance to make friends in the orchestra to last a lifetime.
