Meet the Instrument Mini Camp
MEET THE INSTRUMENTS! Join us at Bloomingdale for an exciting week of an introduction to solo instruments! This week-long 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. drop-off program introduces students to instrument study, combining elemental music-making classes with age appropriate introductions to solo instruments. Children experience the violin, piano, wind instruments and more in daily sessions led by faculty artists specializing in each instrument.
Meet the Instruments takes place Monday-Thursday, August 15 – 18 at Bloomingdale’s Brownstone.

What you will learn
MEET THE INSTRUMENTS! Join us this summer for an exciting week of instrument discovery! This week-long program introduces students to instrument study, combining elemental music-making classes with age appropriate introductions to solo instruments. Children will experience the violin, piano, wind instruments, and more in daily sessions led by faculty artists specializing in each instrument.
Meet the Instruments will be a drop-off class from 9am to 12pm and will take place Monday through Thursday, August 15th to the 18th at the school.
Music and Movement Class
Through the use of various songs, simple rhythmic patterns, movement, games, storytelling through music, and hands-on instrument playing children will be introduced to the building blocks of music.
Meet the Instrument Class
Children experience the violin, piano, and wind instruments and more in daily sessions led by faculty artists specializing in each instrument.
Sing, Dance, Play!
Children will sing, dance and play along to songs ranging in styles from world music, to classical, to pop and kids’ songs.
