Classes For Teens
Rhythm Workshop
Students will gain a worldview of rhythm, percussion, timing, and musical approaches coming from the drum perspective, but invaluable to all musicians. Following chronologically from the earliest West African, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian, into modern jazz, swing, and even exploring odd meter and metric modulation techniques.

What you will learn
Students will learn how to better understand rhythmic concepts as they relate to percussion techniques and modern approaches to soloing on your instrument.

Practice with friends
Students will get the opportunity to develop their rhythmic skills in a focused group environment.
Performance Opportunities
Students will have the opportunity to perform in a combo/ percussion setting.
