Erika S. Floreska served as the Executive Director of Bloomingdale School of Music from 2014 to 2020. During her tenure at Bloomingdale, Erika expanded access to music education, increased resources, and initiated community partnerships through hyper-local engagement strategies. For 25 years Ms. Floreska has created access to arts through her roles as Executive Director at Tectonic Theater Project, and the Director of Education at Jazz at Lincoln Center. She has been guided by her dedication to diversity, inclusion, and equity, and enjoys leading workshops, speaking to students, and mentoring others on careers in nonprofit management and arts administration. She continues to do this work in her current role as Director of Development at the Long Island Children’s Museum.
