José Maldonado Guitar Recital: Baroque, Classical, and Puerto Rican Music

This program reflects two pillars of faculty member José Maldonado’s artistic work: a passion for the study and performance of early guitar repertoire, and a deep commitment to preserving and interpreting the music of his homeland, Puerto Rico. José will perform solo works by J.S. Bach, D.Scarlatti, Mauro Giuliani, Juan Sorroche, Rafael Hernández, and Leonardo Egúrbida.
