Alyssa Click

Alyssa is a soprano, singing actress, and voice teacher in the New York City metro area. This past summer, she was thrilled to return to Charlottesville Opera as an Emerging Artist to perform in a whirlwind abridged summer season full of concerts as well as in the chorus of La Bohème. Other recent appearances include Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Despina cover (Cosi fan tutte), Florestine (The Ghosts of Versailles), Anna Reich (Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor), Daughter (Inheritance), Lucinda (Dark Sisters), Parpignol (La Femme Bohème) Virtu (L’incoronazione di Poppea), Lois Lane/Bianca (Kiss Me, Kate!), and Roxie Hart (Chicago). She made her conducting debut with Brookline Pierce School in their productions of The Music Man Jr. and The Little Mermaid Jr. in their 2019 season.

Ms. Click received her Post-Graduate Fellowship degree in Arts Administration at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and was the inaugural Fellow in the Conservatory side of the program. She holds a Master of Music degree in Opera Performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee under the instruction of Dr. Kerry Deal as well as a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Northern Arizona University under the instruction of Dr. Judith Cloud.
