“All of the teachers in my musical life have had a huge impact on the way I play music. It is important to be patient as a young student learns the complicated technique of playing the violin.”

Violinist Jessica Park grew up in the Greater Cincinnati Area and moved to New York City to attend the Juilliard School of Music. Jessica was inspired by her mother’s love of classical music and began studying the violin through the Suzuki Method.
Jessica enjoys playing various styles of music. “Although I perform music from many different time periods, my favorite type of music making is chamber music of any kind because I feel that I can communicate in a very immediate way not only with the audience but with my colleagues as well”.
Jessica is also a devoted and committed teacher. “All of the teachers in my musical life have had a huge impact on the way I play music. It is important to be patient as a young student learns the complicated technique of playing the violin. It is also important to keep students motivated, challenged, and excited while they become familiar with the violin through studies such as note-reading, rhythm exercises, and other interactive musical activities. I have also taught adult students who were complete beginners and other adult students who played the violin in their youth and wanted to reconnect with the instrument later in life”.
In addition to her musical life, Jessica enjoys baking, reading, and running in Central Park.
