100 Years of Tom Jobim: An Evening of Bossa Nova

In celebration of what would have been Antônio Carlos “Tom” Jobim’s 100th birthday, this concert is devoted to the music of one of Brazil’s most beloved composers. Presented in the intimate voice-and-guitar format synonymous with Bossa Nova, the program moves from early works such as Chega de Saudade and Desafinado to international standards including The Girl from Ipanema, Corcovado, Wave, and Águas de Março. Together, the songs invite listeners into Jobim’s lyrical world of saudade, sea, romance, and joy.
