Our Vocal Arts program helps singers of all ages and experience levels build healthy technique, musical confidence, and expressive artistry in a supportive, welcoming community. Through private lessons, ensembles, workshops, and performance opportunities, students explore classical, musical theater, jazz, pop, and contemporary styles with guidance tailored to their individual voice, age, and goals.
Rooted in vocal health and inspired by the joy of performance, Bloomingdale helps every singer grow with confidence, connection, and artistry. Students study and perform at Bloomingdale School of Music on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, and at off-site venues with online study also available.

Our Vocal Arts programs offer children, teens, and adults opportunities to develop their voices, perform with others, and grow as musicians in a supportive environment.
This class is a great supportive experience to expose kids to the joy of singing in a group setting. Ideal for elementary school students.
This class is a fun and supportive introduction to jazz singing, where young singers explore jazz repertoire, rhythm, improvisation, and the joy of making music together.
Students build confidence performing in front of peers and in public, and develop a solid foundation for future voice lessons and choral singing.
Build an artistic foundation by taking the love of singing and curiosity to perform and “putting it on its feet” in a nurturing and encouraging environment.
Step into the Spotlight and join the Broadway Ensemble! Members ages 13-21 will learn how to bring characters to life, sing with ease and authentic style, sharpen audition skills, and discover the rich history and songs of the stage.
Find your voice in a pressure free, fun and relaxed atmosphere in the company of other adults.
