Duo Tribute to Frank Sinatra: Remembering the Sands
Frank Sinatra’s celebrated collaborations with the Count Basie Orchestra produced some of the most enduring performances of his career, including the legendary live album Sinatra at the Sands. Trombonist Thomas Laubhan and guitarist Silvan Joray revisit that swinging repertoire through the more intimate and unusual format of a trombone-and-guitar duo, bringing a modern approach to standards while remaining grounded in the jazz tradition that inspired them.
