This 2024, Bloomingdale has been promoting the art of chamber music playing for students of all instruments, and encouraging folks to make music together — because at its heart, music-making is first and foremost a great social activity. This chamber music recital showcases two mixed wind and string ensembles coached by Katherine Hoffman, and an intermediate string ensemble directed by Conrad Chu, in works ranging from the baroque to 20th century.
Our ensemble participants range in age from grade school to adult — come and hear what community music is all about!
