Music Access Project (MAP) Director
Judy Woo currently serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (CUNY) and has taught at Concordia College Conservatory and The Geneva Conservatory of Music in Manhattan. She is a former national examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music and is an in-demand adjudicator. Judy has given numerous workshops in the Tri-State area and has presented at the World Piano Pedagogy Conference. She holds a Doctorate in Piano Performance from the Graduate Center, City University of New York, a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music, and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Victoria. She also holds an Associateship degree in Performance and Pedagogy from the Victoria Conservatory of Music and an Associateship in Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music . As a recipient of the Johann Strauss Foundation Award, she was a full scholarship student at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, broadening her studies to three countries and two continents.
