Liza Wu

Liza Wu is a pianist and organist who performs regularly with various professional organizations in New York City and internationally. She has been affiliated with such organizations as Barnard College/ Columbia University, New York University, the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, the Interlochen Arts Camp, and the Killington Music Festival. She has served as Assistant Music Director and Pianist of the New York Youth Symphony Singers, Assistant Music Director and Keyboardist for Columbia Artists’ Theatricals National Tours North America, and Pianist/Harpsichordist of the Bronx Opera.

As a teacher Liza has served on the faculties of the Oberlin College Conservatory’s Piano Lab, Cleveland Institute of Music’s Preparatory Program, Westchester Conservatory, and the Diller-Quaile School of Music. Teaching specialties include concert and competition preparation, sight-reading and vocal diction, technique and musicality for young musicians and students of high school and college age, and continuing education for older students and educators.
Liza’s degrees include an M.M. (Cleveland Institute of Music; B.M. (Oberlin College Conservatory of Music); Diploma and Fine Arts Award (Interlochen Arts Academy) and Suzuki Certification (School for Strings, NYC).
