Eduardo Gutterres (1997) has established himself as one of his generation’s leading guitarists in Brazil. He holds a Bachelor of Music with honors from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where he studied with Paulo Inda. In 2019, Eduardo was chosen among 200 Brazilian applicants as the Cultura Artítica Scholar to study with Fabio Zanon and Paulo Martelli. Eduardo was accepted to the Manhattan School of Music, where he received a scholarship to pursue a Master’s Degree advised by Mark Delpriora.
Mr. Gutterres has performed concerts across Brazil and Uruguay. At the beginning of 2020, he made his debut in the United States playing a solo concert in New York City.
Eduardo is endorsed by Augustine strings and plays Augustine Regal Blue. He plays a cedar guitar by Eduardo Cordeiro (Pelotas/Brazil).
