Flute Chamber Class
Flute isn’t just for children! Beginning and Intermediate flute as an adult is a fun and rewarding way to begin expressing yourself through music. This ensemble focuses on repertoire and performance, but includes the first lessons of putting the flute together, making your first sounds, and reading music to early technique.

What you will learn
Starting with the fundamental lessons of putting the flute together, making your first sounds, and beginning to read music, this class continues on to build the foundations of technique and early repertoire.
FLUTE BASICS
Get acquainted with the flute from how to hold it to breathing techniques and finger positions.
MUSIC THEORY BASICS
Get an introduction to reading music starting with basic notes and rhythm.
BEGINNER REPERTOIRE
Students will learn several short pieces and will have the opportunity to perform them during one of our casual sharing hours.
