Classes For Summer Programs
Summer Orchestra
Join our inclusive music class, welcoming students from ages 10 to adult, ranging from intermediate to advanced levels. Proficiency of NYSSMA level 2 or higher is required. Students will perform a variety of pieces on all instruments, with specific repertoire to be announced. Don’t miss their performances at our community BBQ and Sharing hour events.

What you will learn
Students will explore a range of repertoire from romantic and baroque classical to modern compositions written for this style of group, allowing different players to lead at different times.
peer to peer learning
Students will have the opportunity to collaborate with each other and their faculty leaders in an encouraging environment.
ensemble playing
Playing in an ensemble is very different than playing alone, students will learn to listen better, follow better and lead better.
Performance
The Summer Orchestra will have a final performance of at our community BBQ and Sharing Hour.

We offer Need-based financial assistance
Our goal is to make music education accessible and to remove the financial barrier that may prevent students from participating. Therefore, we offer need-based financial aid to as many students as possible.
