Rehearsing with a jazz ensemble can be an exciting and rewarding experience, focusing on intonation closely tied to tuning and musicality, is a key element in any ensemble piece, but it’s especially important in jazz. Students will work together in ensemble to build up repertoire, improvisation skills and learn classic jazz form. Playing music from around the globe and exploring the elements of jazz music.

Just like mastering a musical instrument, singing in a choir can help you build more confidence and comfort with your notes. Group singing is a great and effective way to practice your music theory, too. Participants will refine their skills in a group setting with an ensemble of their fellow instrumentalists: Flute, Trumpet, and Guitar ensembles are available for all skill levels.
