The Bloomingdale Jazz Voice Ensemble for Children is an opportunity for both new and experienced vocalists to acquire and develop the fundamental practice and performance skills necessary to sing jazz and jazz-adjacent/Black American Music (BAM).

What you will learn
This class invites students to explore vocal jazz and Black American Music (BAM) with fresh perspectives and practical tools. Through guided exercises and creative exploration, students will strengthen their musicianship, develop their unique voice, and gain confidence in improvisation and harmony—all while having fun making music with their most personal instrument: the voice.
