Clarinet for Pre-Teens

Clarinet for Pre-Teens is a great way to start an instrument if you didn’t have the opportunity at a younger age. A group class setting provides support, a faculty member and fun friends to play and learn along with.

What you will learn

Clarinet for Pre-Teens will teach students basics to set up their instrument, to produce a proper sound, follow an ensemble leader in the teacher and play simple songs along the way.

Building blocks

Students will learn the basics that can be applied to any instrument for a long time, so if this is an instrument you stick with or something that you want to just try out, you can apply some of these basics across all musical instruments and areas.

Note reading

Students will learn notes on the staff as they begin their musical journey into songs that are simple and expand beyond the musical staff by the end of the year.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

Students will have the opportunity to share their hard work at the end of the semester in a sharing hour or studio recital, in either a group settng or as a solist.
