Henry Ramon Jeria

Teaches: Piano

Henry Ramon is a born and Raised New Yorker who has been on the NY music scene since he
was a teenager. Raised in an artistic house, whose mom is a lifelong visual artist and arts &
early childhood educator, Henry was always immersed in the city’s artistic culture. Henry is
classically trained and a lifelong student of Black American Music, as well as music from all
around the globe. He went to CCNY Jazz BFA program and has been teaching and performing
professionally since the age of 15.

Henry plays a wide range of music from folk and children’s songs for preschoolers to
performing keyboards for Slick Rick and Big Daddy Kane. Henry continues to work with artists
such as Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane, Craig Harris, Chris Turner, Melanie Charles, Chris Rob,
Jay Rodriguez, Phylisia Ross, Dorene Love, Gin Wigmore, Ray Blue, Nicholas Cassarino, Shira
Elias, Lifted Crew, Spirit of Life Ensemble, and regularly performs with Hudson Horns around
the USA.

Henry leads an electronic collective, Human Resource, who has developed a very unique style
of live looping and improvising full sets of music, from scratch as well as remixing modern and
classic repertoire. Always experimenting with new and innovative ways of using Keyboards and
various electronic instruments, Henry Ramon’s eclectic style and openness has lead him to his
unique approach and voice on the International and local music scene.
