Bloomingdale’s Fall semester will be completely virtual and we’re excited about some new offerings we will be able to bring to the community.
Bloomingdale School of Music is a diverse, multi-generational community serving over 800 students every week. We practice inclusivity by offering music education to all ages and levels – from three months old in our Early Childhood program to seniors taking private lessons and joining adult music classes. We offer private lessons and group classes that create a supportive, educational community. We dedicate a portion of our annual budget to financial aid and scholarships to offer music programs, partnerships, and performances to all who want to learn.
Our 30, 45 and 60-minute music lessons give prospective students the opportunity to experience our community and the hands-on learning students enjoy. Lessons are taught by passionate and experienced faculty who customize lessons for each student. 30-minute Trial classes are $30.
Join us for student concerts, professional faculty performances, master classes and lectures and so much more! All school events are open to our community.
Please note that all physical events that were scheduled to take place between March 13th -May 15th have been postponed or canceled due to COVID-19 preventative measures. We have worked to transition our events online through Zoom and other digital platforms
We provide access to music education to anyone who seeks it, regardless of economic status, ability, ethnicity, or religion, which has a profound impact on individual lives as well as on our entire community.
Our episode on NBC’s George to the Rescue has been a real boost for our school in the middle of this crisis and has reminded us how we bring our community together!
