The airing of Bloomingdale on NBC’s George to the Rescue, in the NYC Metro area, will take place on Saturday, April 11th on WNBC at 9 am, 7 pm and 12:30 am on April 12. The show will also air in 12 markets nationwide starting the week of April 6th.
The show is going to be a real boost for our school in the middle of this crisis and will remind us how we bring our community together.
Bloomingdale School of Music is a diverse, multi-generational community serving over 800 students every week. We practice inclusivity by offering music education to all ages and levels – from three months old in our Early Childhood program to seniors taking private lessons and joining adult music classes. We offer private lessons and group classes that create a supportive, educational community. We dedicate a portion of our annual budget to financial aid and scholarships to offer music programs, partnerships, and performances to all who want to learn.
Our 30, 45 and 60-minute music lessons give prospective students the opportunity to experience our community and the hands-on learning students enjoy. Lessons are taught by passionate and experienced faculty who customize lessons for each student. 30-minute Trial classes are $30.
Join us for student concerts, professional faculty performances, master classes and lectures and so much more! All school events are open to our community.
Please not that all events that were scheduled to take place between March 13th -April 20th have been postponed or canceled due to COVID-19 preventative measures.
We provide access to music education to anyone who seeks it, regardless of economic status, ability, ethnicity, or religion, which has a profound impact on individual lives as well as on our entire community.
